Photoshop panel
The Photoshop panel says “Cannot reach the server”
Sign in again from the panel’s footer — the link expires. If it keeps failing, check that your studio can open the app in a browser on the same machine: the panel talks to the same host you do, so if the browser cannot reach it, the panel cannot either.
The panel picked the wrong frames in my template
Open Template, select the design, and press Re-detect frames — then untick anything that is not a photo hole. Your choice is remembered for that file permanently, so you will not be asked again for that template.
Some of my photos were not placed on a sheet
Every photo goes in a frame of its own shape, so a portrait is never cropped into a landscape hole. When no frame is left that fits, the photo is listed beside the album instead — and it is NOT marked used, so it stays ready for the next spread. Click it, then click any frame, if you want it placed anyway.
Can I build album sheets without an internet connection?
Yes. Local files, sheet building, templates and export never talk to the server, so a venue with no signal does not stop the album getting built. Only browsing your studio’s server photos and publishing a finished spread need a connection.
An overnight batch stopped part-way through
Reopen the desktop app — an interrupted batch is detected on startup and you can Resume or Discard it. Resuming continues from the exact photo it stopped at rather than starting over. Stuck plugin dialogs are dismissed automatically, so the usual cause is the machine sleeping; check its power settings.
Uploads & media
An upload stopped part-way
Large files upload in parts and resume — reopen the upload and start it again. Parts that already finished are not re-sent, so restarting costs you only what was left.
My iPhone photos are not showing a preview
Some HEIC files use a codec that cannot be read directly, so they are converted when the preview is generated. If an older upload is still missing its preview, use Reprocess on the media item to regenerate it.
Clients & portal
A client says their link does not work
Portal links are revocable and can expire. Reissue the access link from the client’s record; the old one stops working immediately, which is the point of it. Send the new link and the client keeps everything they had.
A couple picked more photos than the album allows
Set a minimum and maximum on the selection gallery and the couple sees a live count as they choose, so the submission comes back inside the limit. If a selection was already submitted, send it back with a note rather than editing it for them — the request-changes step exists so the final list is theirs.
Team & access
A teammate cannot see something
Roles carry fine-grained permissions. Check their role in Settings → Team before assuming a bug — most “missing page” reports are a permission that was never granted rather than something broken.
The People tab is empty or missing
Face analysis is off by default and enabled in separate consented stages by an Owner or Admin. Viewing people also needs its own permission, so an editor who can browse galleries may still not see the tab. Enabling it embeds new uploads automatically; existing photos need an explicit, audited backfill.
Billing & payments
A payment is not showing
Gateway payments are verified server-side and post within a minute. UPI payments reported by a client stay pending until you confirm them against your bank — that confirmation is deliberate, because we cannot see your bank account and will not mark an invoice paid on the client’s word alone.
Why did my storage bill change this month?
Storage is billed by time, not snapshots: keeping 100 GB for a full month is 100 GB-months, keeping it a week is roughly a quarter of that. Moving delivered weddings to the archive tier drops them to roughly a sixth of the hot rate, and the meter slows the same hour. Every line on the invoice is itemised against the published rate card.
