Questions studios ask
How is storage actually billed?
By time, not by snapshot. Keeping 100 GB for a full month is 100 GB-months; keeping it a week is roughly a quarter of that. Every line on the invoice is itemised against the published rate card.
What is the difference between the tiers?
Hot storage is for work in progress. Archive is for delivered weddings and costs roughly a sixth as much. Moving a project between them is your decision — nothing is demoted automatically behind your back.
Do I lose access to archived photos?
Archived photos stay browsable and download normally. Only the deepest tier needs a restore before download, and that restore is requested in the app with the wait shown up front rather than discovered afterwards.
Can I keep using Google Drive as well?
Yes. The Drive connection is an import path, not a migration you are forced to finish. Pick what you want in the library and leave the rest alone.
Where do the files actually live?
